- I am a lifetime Martial Artist. I am a Chief Instructor at Nicklaus' Martial Arts America along with the other Instructors is focus on Life Skills Development and Character Development for students. Yes, the physical part of the Martial Arts plays an important part, but the physical part is only a medium through which the Instructors can influence and mentor our students on how to become better people. I started at Nicklaus' Martial Arts America when I was ten and have been there ever since. I have had many Instructors in my time here and have learned a lot from each in way or another. Mr. Fred Nicklaus - the owner of Martial Arts America in La Crosse & Onalaska - has been one of the most influential Instructors in my life in both the physical & personal growth that I have experienced and that I continue to enjoy. He's put me in contact with two other Instructors that greatly help the success that strive for today -- Sensei Suzann Wancket-Yue and Sensei Michael Bernardo.
