Quebec Open Tournament

I went up a day early this time to tournament in Quebec because of the number of inbound flights to Quebec were limited to very few choices. Anyways, it was a good choice for me because I got a chance to enjoy and soak in the city which I don't always do when I travel to tournaments. I went to what's called "Old Quebec," and it was like being in Europe. The buildings had very neat architecture and I had a chance to really relax mentally.

At the tournament, I was more relaxed than ever and felt more "in the moment" than I have the first few tournaments of the year. The difference? Just mental. A situation is neither positive or negative. It's the situation and your thoughts about the situation that make it positive or negative. I wasn't concerned with the people competing or the what if's, just focused on the what I wanted and being in the moment.

I think you'll feel the difference when you watch my form.

Thanks so much!
